During Sunday nights presidential debate, Donald Trump indulged in some mudslinging even more flawed than usual on the tired topic of Hillary Clintons State Department email. It is old non-news that Clintons staff deleted 33,000 messages on her server after they deemed these personal in nature. This has been investigated to death, by a court in civil litigation, the State Department Inspector General, the FBI, and the Justice Department. FBI Director James Comey, a solid Republican and a universally respected former prosecutor, concluded after an exceptionally thorough investigation that no charges were warranted.
...he asserted that he would appoint a special prosecutor if he wins the election...
FBI investigators have already worked over Clintons server...When I was General Counsel of the House of Representatives, and later on as I kept my hand in, I witnessed the FBI lay their hands on computers and suck everything out of them like water from a dried fruit. In Clintons case, FBI specialists did manage to recover about 15,000 deleted e-mails. That was impressive. These were thoroughly examined by the FBI in their investigation and the result was that they decided against any charges. With that done, theres no more there there.
...The FBI concluded there was no evidence that the email was deliberately erased to avoid the committees request.
Which brings us to the ultimate provocation from Trump: he wants a special prosecutor for Clinton....what was wrong with the conclusion reached by FBI Director Jim Comey? There has to be something wrong very wrong in the working of the FBI and the Department of Justice to have a special prosecutor.
Before replacing Comey with some new Ken Starr, the Republican model of a special prosecutor, look at Comeys record, which is as solidly Republican as they come.

Trump was right again.
Correction, this guy might not be a RINO but a plain old Democrat.
I guess there still was a “there” there.
Looking forward to a Trump victory and “The Great Purge” that follows.

I agree that a special prosecutor should not be necessary. Any old-fashioned honest prosecutor of the normal type should do. Perhaps several at once!?
I think prosecution on (1) lying to Congress, (2) lying to the FBI during a criminal investigation, (3) mishandling classified materials, (4) willfully destroying evidence, and (5) several counts (each requiring its own proceedings) of running a money-laundering pay for play operation in the State Department ought to bankrupt her just in lawyers fees.
Somehow those folks in Haiti ought to get a crack at her, as well.
There are so many flaws in his argument that none of it is worth anything at all
Talk about a bad timing for a stupid article. Today’s news makes us happy that he is no longer General Counsel for anything in Government.
Forbes is looking stupid for running this crap since the Comey investigation was a travesty and is now imploding in on itself.
Who's gonna discuss anything with a mental deficient?
It is not the FBI's role to judge; It investigates.
The Justice Department and the Grand jury do their thing, then, before the walk to the gallows.
Not Comey's job to decide. It's not rocket science.
Yes, as you look back on it Trump seems to be right about a lot of things.
I’m beginning to think he may be right about winning the White House too.
Best Election EVER!
These guys need to stop using any words with CUCK in them.
