I heard a blurb not too long ago wherein the gingerbread man said they did not actually know where the hacking came from.
I think the gingerbread man, deep down, is really pissed about all this because his staff had been promised by the grifter they would not misuse their office with the foundation. Unless he is completely oblivious to what had been going on, he must have felt powerless to stop it but probably is now seething this is going to kill his administration. Meanwhile, another cruise missile comes in when his AG takes the fifty amendment. Not just wow, but double wow.
