I’ve always enjoyed Halloween, too - love seeing the kids in costumes (there were some real cuties on F&F a little while ago) and I like dressing up - lots of fun! Decorations are great and it sounds like yours are super!
We used to decorate our hallways at work and employees’ kids would come around trick or treating. One of the favorite ones that I did was to have a witch and a skeleton sitting at a “bar” with martini glasses (skeleton stems) and a bar look above them. I covered cardboard in silver mylar (so it looked like a mirror), then got bottles off the internet and created some to place on it to look like the back of the bar.
I took my nephew T or T’ing when he was about 3 or 4 - he was a pirate and I dressed as a pirate lady - too fun.
The pirate couple sounds adorable. Did you get pictures? From Trump to cruising the drag, to Coors, to Halloween we have a lot in common. :)
