Following the second UNESCO vote to deny the connection between the Jewish people and their holiest sites in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made the decision to recall Israel’s ambassador to UNESCO, Carmel Shama-Hacohen.
This was an unprecedented move that has never been taken against any other UN body before.
Netanyahu confirmed the move during an event at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya.
"The theater of the absurd continues, and I have decided to summon to Israel for consultations our ambassador to UNESCO. We will decide what do, what our next steps vis-à-vis the organization will be.” …

Quite a few years ago I taught my son the great game of shoot a hole through the Blue Helmet at 500 meters, he got quite good at it actually.
wow! 500 meters is a LONG distance !

Never thought it was all that far.
Shot expert every year I had to qualify in the Corps (5 years) over iron sights.
At the 500 meter line it was all prone, just takes good dope on your sights, pay attention to the flags (wind), sight picture, sight alignment, breath, relax, hold it and squeeze it.
Rinse and repeat.
Best score I ever shot was a 244.
But before I ever enlisted I had been shooting over iron sights since I was about 5 years old.
My Father used to tell me “CARTRIDGES COST MONEY, MAKE DAMN SURE YOU HIT WHAT YOU SHOOT AT”.
It was a primary way we used to put meat on the table.
