If it’s for the spectators, the conclusion is that the crowd is so small... this can actually be accomplished.
If it’s for the spectators, the conclusion is- it’s either a noble gesture, or a patronizing act.
Probably for the support people. Must be a lot of support folks or they are mighty hungary!
