My niece was a teacher in a particular rough inner city ELEMENTARY school, 95% African American, moving between classes they were ordered to keep thier hands in thier pockets at all times. (Preparation for prison? Good question.) This was as punching/slapping/kicking would occur otherwise.
I went all out on a local newspaper comment section and the defenders were actually communicating...on the same board....how to refute it.

For a year or 2 I worked in a public middle school in a smaller town in TX. Another FReeper happened to work there.
The daily, constant savagery I witnessed changed my life forever. I actually did not want to bring children into the world because of the experience.
It was a dystopian nightmare wherein the (white, female) administrators actively covered for the violent black students as they assaulted, attacked and even stabbed anyone they perceived as weaker than themselves.
Turns out, women latch onto the strongest male, even when the strongest male is 14 years old and a violent feral savage. Those women had an amazing ability to selectively allow stuff into their brain. They could explain away violence by their pets all day long.
