Why would a programmer make visible the change? Just change it “under the hood”. This doesn’t make sense unless someone is intentionally trying to bring doubt to computer voting.
That or the code gets audited, or can be audited, and any revelation like that would bring the game crashing down.
Whereas visible glitches have plausible deniability.
The only thing I can think of is that the machines are super sensitive and if someone rests their hand on a part of the screen, it senses the movement and switches. HOWEVER, as I’ve said before, There has NEVER EVER been a case whereby it was reported that the vote switched from DEM to REP. Just saying
