Just before midnight Saturday, Tom Hanks put on a denim shirt, a goatee and a red MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN hat, and in six minutes pulled off the best political sketch of the year and it didnt even feature Kate McKinnon or Alec Baldwin as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Not bad, not bad at all; thanks
That was my reaction too!
I avoided it when I heard about it, but I relented and just watched it a couple of times. It is actually very subversive, in a good way. The first time I watched it, I thought Hanks was playing stereotype of a Trump supporter from the perspective of the wealthy New York whites, and he kind of is. But it was also written by Michael Che, a black comedian who is very good, and much more perceptive about race than most. The perspective of the skit is not from upper class whites, but from showing that blacks and Trump supporters have a whole lot more in common than people think. It ends up positive towards Trump and conservatives, and shrugs off the rich white perspective as irrelevant.
My uncle Ichabod was funnier than that.
Comical old gentleman, would always say something that would make ya split yer sides a laffin.
He would say,the city’s no place for a gal, but I hear pretty men go thar..
Eddie Murphy’s “white like me” SNL skit is no longer on Yourube but it is here: http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/white-like-me/n9308
Poor people of all races have a lot in common.
It’s horrid that poor negroes are given a false excuse for their situation.
Yourube? That’s racist!
Shy black voters...they out there.
I think the qwerty keyboard was designed with the intent to make mistakes funny!
The “The Mad Real World” was pretty good and so was the Prince and Charlie Murphy basketball game.
That’s cute. There’s a sitcom in that material.
bump
I liked Chapelle doing a newscast on what happens when blacks get reparations for slavery. A lot of truth to it.
“In another story, the crime rate has dropped to zero percent.....How could that be, did the Mexicans get money today, too?.......Oh, I shouldn’t have said that.”
Then when the camera is off he tells the director, “That’s ok, Mexicans don’t watch the news.”
Oh you wrong fo dat.
Especially the one line about why he had to divorce his wife.
Classic!
