Chick wasn’t very kind to Catholics... and probably wouldn’t have been any kinder to C. S. Lewis.
That’s the problem when one is from a denomination that is dedicated to fighting things doctrinaire, only to get doctrinaire oneself. It’s about the easiest error in the book.
If I were to cartoon an evangelical outreach, I think it would look different from Jack Chick’s and would be extremely Jesus centered in theme, and denomination-blind. I just don’t believe in getting wrought up in “The Death Cookie” kind of brouhaha.

I never cared for his stuff either.
I thought it cast Christianity in a bad light and while I didn’t care for his delivery, he did stand for what he believed in.
