Trinidad (CO; my hometown) is experiencing a surge in crime as well. BTW, my oldest liberal daughter is a drug and alcohol use counselor in Manhattan, KS. According to her, Heroin is the biggie there.

And that is the problem with the legalization of these gateway drugs... The bad guys move onto selling the “better” harder stuff at a higher margin to a greater number of the populace who are looking for the next ultimate high.
