Rape was a Capital Crime in the US until the 1960's. Many of the Lynchings between 1865 and 1965 were vigilante justice for accused rapists.
Along with the Civil Rights Act, Congress downgraded Rape to non-capital status, as a gift to the Ghetto Community.
Look at what is going on in Europe with the Muslim Invaders; raping European women and claiming that it is their right as Muslims.

Villagers and townsfolk used to burn down entire communities for acts like this. That kind of violent, direct action kept the peace for decades afterwards. One day, that type of retribution may surface again.
