Yoga pants are weight sensitive. Some should, many should not.

Locally we seem to have a three tier + 200 rule. Only women with three rolls above the waist and come in at least at 200 lbs wear yoga pants.

While waiting in a checkout line, there were a few times when I was afraid some of the pants would stress fail, catastrophically. I always had a plan B of where to run to avoid sudden and severe waist band spillage.

Like spandex, they should be sold with a weight limit.
