Let me guess:

You turn on CNN and go to Washington Post, looking for them to talk about it?

Toss a rock into a lake, and you wont see 5 foot faves, but the water is still moving.

Yep. Other media is impacting - YouTube, twitter, social media in general. Hillary and her globalist cabal want to censor these as well.

MSM is only still around because the globalists/corporate and political elites prop it up as their agitprop vehicle. Oh and also dupes with zero brain cells to think for themselves.

I have been around and active in these things for a long time, so I know how all of that works. As I said in the thread starter, I am taking that into account.

But when you look at the video, the open criminality, a clear trail to the top, especially when coupled with the Wikileaks emails, and the picture is damning. And undeniable.

I recognize (and the parties involved do too as well) that the only way out of this is to bald face lie, tell people that their eyes aren't seeing what they see, that the people bringing this to light are criminals and bad actors, the people being outed are bit players, rogue actors acting independently, it was all just joking or conceptual in nature, and people bothered by it are all taking this out of context.

When I first watched the videos, I predicted (accurately) all of these approaches and more, and they have all been borne out, which though expected, is still disconcerting.

Be back tonight, heading back to work...

Just to be clear, I don’t turn on CNN or go to the Washington Post (except to research something like this) because I stopped watching television, reading papers or magazines (like Newsweak) around 15-20 years ago.

Like a lot of people, I can stay informed without being spoon fed what someone wants me to know. I can look at disparate sources of information and use my own intellect to sort out the wheat from the chaff.

I don’t think it is too far off base to point out that there is a problem with the institutions that should ostensibly disseminate news, but instead practice advocacy, and the effect that has on something like this.

And I don’t blindly accept what I see here on FR, though I do use FR as a jumping off point for research on contemporary news. Sounds like you do too, and a lot of others here.
