10 for Trump 5 for Hillary 6 still undecided
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TZt0xcunG4
There were some incredible moments:
- Trump’s heartfelt partial birth answer and Hillary’s weak response
- “4 minutes, 4 minutes, lockbox, 4 minutes”
- The best ever: slammed Chris about Aleppo falling: “What do you want a signed letter?” Even Chris had to nod and concede the point.
— keep in mind this is a guy who has not debated before, the question was meant to setup a Gary Johnson moment. Here is my paraphrase of the question:
“Hey moron, during last debate you said something stupid and untrue. Correct yourself now and concede that Hillary is much smarter than you on foreign policy (after all she mentioned picture of Aleppo boy).”
We should all be so proud of Trump. His response was so un-Washington spoken in plain English with a style no other Republian could have done. They would have rambled on about how it is a complex situation with policy Mumbo jumbo. Here is my interpretation of what Trump said:
“She caused Allepo mess, displaced hundreds of thousands of people who are flooding other countries. Hey Chris, if it is such a great place why don’t you move there?” Brilliant!
Not to mention 2 candidates who couldn’t be more different. How could you be on the fence, ready to vote for either one? I don’t buy it.
Millions of people heard that Q, and thought- What the hell is an Aleppo?
I agree that her tiresome blathering won few votes but Trump just let too much slide. At the worst this was a draw and a waste of time to any who actually knows something about these issues.
“Many of us have been praying regularly for God to intensify Hillarys illness in a spectacular public display, then heal her after she loses the election.”
Agree — except for that “heal” part. Even healed she can cause so much grief, and would be ruthless in grooming Chelsea for a run. (Guess I’m heartless.)
They’re not undecided. They’re attention whores and stand out more if in this group.
I love your post! Very possibly He did.
“Anyone that is still undecided after 2 years of this is a moron and should not be allowed to vote or cross the street by themselves.”
That was a good one.
Her grinning and smirking 99% of the debate. Her “why is the queen here” attitude, turned off any undecideds with a brain. She’s just a phony. Trump comes through as genuine, the unpolished common man who who loves his country, that real Americans can relate to. He’s not a phony and that’s why he’ll be elected president.
interesting thing on this if you watch:
1) the black woman in the midde/front votes for neither
2) the woman on the far left who looks hispanic votes Trump
3) two women vote clinton
5) five women vote Trump
I don’t think there are really many “undecided” voters, they’re just not saying for whom they are voting. I suspect most of the “undecided” will vote Trump.
Clinton was more "polished" that Trump.
Trump demonstrated that he is competent, that he will respect the office of the President, and will grow in the role.
Clinton demonstrated that her skill set includes "professional liar".
Trump neglected to point out he's been campaigning hard since the previous debate, was speaking without many notes or preparation, while Clinton has been resting and preparing ever since. Of course she should appear more polished. Trump also could have explained that he's been focusing on campaigning and the bigger picture. He could have explained his process for solving problems, and that at this point recognizing the problem is actually enough, since Clinton doesn't even acknowledge abortion, immigration, jobs, debt, and foreign affairs as problems.
So overall the results of this "debate" are more whose stand people agree with, than how well they presented things.
To me, Hillary came across as a slippery worm. She never answered directly. When a truthful accusation was made she gave the creepy grin. She always weaseled her way out of things. She seemed like a slick used car salesperson. Not trustworthy. Not honest.
