Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Wednesday called for a "serious criminal investigation" into the dozens of White House visits that Robert Creamer made to the White House since 2009.
"Voter fraud operative: 45 meetings w/Obama this merits a serious criminal investigation," Cruz said on Twitter.
Robert Creamer is a co-founder of Democratic political consulting group, and was an adviser to Hillary Clinton's campaign. However, he surfaced in a new undercover video from Project Veritas, in which he appears to be supporting the idea of voter fraud.
Creamer quickly resigned, and followup reports said Creamer spent time in prison for bank fraud.
Reports also said he visited the White House more than 300 times, and that 45 of them were scheduled to be with President Obama.
I felt this move by Cruz was the right thing to do..but like others I feel burned by the man. In time hopefully we’ll all be able to heal some...
The sleaze factor with Trump is just there. In that way he is more flawed than all the other candidates he ran against in the primary. The fact that the vulgarity from Trump wasn’t a major impediment to his popularity is evidence of the moral rot in the country.
He was the only candidate willing to give the democrats what they dish out. So maybe he is the best candidate in terms of winning the general: Time will tell on that point. But he was not the best in terms of moral character.
Your opinion. Where did you get that? Hillary? Be very specific about what he's been sleazy about, and I'll watch and wait.
And when you can't match your rhetoric with facts, I'll definitely say some things about your character.
You need facts? How about from Trumps own book the Art of the Comeback.
“If I told the real stories of my experiences with women, often seemingly very happily married and important women, this book would be a guaranteed best-seller,
He also put in a strip club in his casino the Taj Mahal.
He used to be a frequent guest on The Howard Stern show. Some of his quotes from that show are now being used by Hillary.
He also said nice things about planned parenthood. For a Republican nominee, I find that pretty offensive too.
Let’s not forget that when asked, he couldn’t think of anything he would need God’s forgiveness for. All I could think was his adultery. And said to myself wow, not even that came to his mind when asked that question?
I’ll vote for the guy, but I’m not expecting much from him. I expect he will do some good and some bad. Maybe a lot bad. But that is preferable to the all bad that the alternative is.
I’m not into making a hero out of any candidate. If you don’t see the same flaws I do maybe you are doing that. You should just be happy that guys like me see the big picture and will vote for the guy we couldn’t stand in the primary.
amen, but i’m not sure there will be enough people as forgiving as you and I to put him over the top.
(Had to take time out for the debate...)
“Cruz is my Senator and I like him
Ive seen nothing but hate around here for months for people who dont bow down and worship Trump.
Ive seen those same folks say theyll not vote down ticket.
Yes, Im voting Trump but only because he is the R candidate and the Supreme Court nominee is too important to me, outside of that Ill keep my mouth shut due to the vitriol around here.”
Cruz isn’t my senator, but was my preferred candidate - in desperate times, Trump is a million times better than Clinton.
But I think it is time to challenge the vitriol and stupidity.
So dragnet, I did see that video at the time, and watched it again tonight, and didn’t agree with the anti Cruz spin put on it by Sundance.
I’ll see your Sundance, and raise you a Lewandowski.
A lot of American men don’t believe in guys roughing up a woman under any circumstances, so calling on other campaigns to try to maintain order seemed like a reasonable thing to do this spring.
I’m thanking Ted, too, for this and for being the honest, honorable person he has been his whole life.
Maybe this is the question the anti Cruzers need to answer:
If Ted Cruz calls Mitch McConnell a liar, and Mitch McConnell a liar, which one do you believe?
still didn’t get it right - should have been...

Neither!
I read the book from the library, did not notice that quote, but judging from your next points, it's just a talking point (Cruz campaign?).
He never owned a strip joint, and you can google that. When he sold and became 5% residual owner (no decisions), the Taj Mahal then rented a second floor area where they had scantily clothed waitresses delivering drinks.
I've never listened to Howard Stern, but claiming that proves your point is ridiculous. He was also on tons of other shows during the same time. It's called business PR, in case you didn't know.
He said nice things about Planned Parenthood doing other health tests for women, said they shouldn't do abortions. I thought it was a pretty good statement in order to deflect the war on wimmin crapola.
You know nothing about his adultery, and nothing about where he is today. Shame on you for being such a rumor machine. I think that's not something you're supposed to do as a Christian.......
I get that you thought Cruz was as pure as the wind driven snow, perhaps the second coming, but that simply was never true.
At the least, you could spend your time tearing down the other party that has gone full reprobate, who is the most corrupt, most offensive, most dishonest candidate to ever seek the office of the President.
It is like you guys have no clue how this government works and I find it bizarre. Besides I said nothing about Trump being able to work with dems and rinos....that will be a wash, they have their marching orders from Soros and that crowd.
His only chance to "drain the swamp" is to work with past enemies or fail. It is called politics. Even idiot Cruz figured it out in the end and started to try and help the man who was a disgusting ass to him in he primary. I am so sick of immature stupidity.
I have no idea what the hell you're talking about...lol
I only commented it was damn foolish for some here to be thanking Cruz for demanding an investigation into the two election fraud spooks visiting the White House when it was Cruz himself who blamed Trump for the same violence.
It was Cruz who initially ran to the media TV cameras and attempted to blame Trump for that planned violent attacks in Chicago. It was outrageous at the time, and even more outrageous now. Cruz has really bad judgement, and he demonstrated that multiple times. Cruz will never get my support for anything. He's untrustworthy and a liar.
Don't like the truth? Too bad lady!
How the government is SUPPOSED to work is 101. How it HAS worked under the Rats and GOPe is what we are dealing with. The Rats/GOPe did not “work with or for us” for over 7 years. But now, once Trump gets in, we are supposed to “work” with them. Yes, the SOBs are still there, if Trump wants to “get things done”, compromise must occur. But I hope he issues more EOs than the previous Presidents to bring the government back closer to what it should be.
