He would have been a complete fool to say he would do that no mater what. But he should have explained himself. That is what is going to hurt him. I would have said something like this.

In the 2000 Election Bush had one. Then we ended up with AlGore and the democrats contesting the results. We ended up with extra bags of ballots showing up everywhere. We ended up with Hanging Chads and days and days of national stress as the Democrats tried to find a way to cheat themselves ahead. In the end Gore was forced to accept the results. Many democrats and the MSM never really did.

It’s easy for us to armchair quarterback when we aren’t the one standing on the stage with a criminal, hot lights, an anti-Trump media and millions watching and weighing your every word.

I totally disagree - what he said was fine. To bring up Florida and the Al Gore thing would have been the worse thing he could have done. It would have reminded everyone of how the DEMS swore to this day that the election was stolen, and give them even more incentive to steal this one. Nope, he said what he had to say.
