But a lot of older voters would avoid rallys or polling places if they thought there was going to be violence.

The attackers seemed to go after the older rally goers.
The intent is the same as terrorists ... to make people afraid to even go to the rallies.

I don’t know if that will extend to the polling but I suggest if you know some elderly people, offer to go with them to vote.
