Long time ago, in Readers Digest so it had to come from someplace else, there was a very small article that had three columns of obscure words. The deal was that when you wrote something that you wanted to be impressive you would choose one word from each column and insert it in a sentence. It made no difference where you inserted the three word phrase in the sentence.
The phrase you created made no sense of any kind, just a string of highfalutin words that were supposed to make you look intelligent.
I think Chelsea must have run across the article.

I was always taught that in management you use “nickel words” to make sure you’re understood by all, and to seem down to earth. People use multi-syllabic “dollar words” when trying to impress, or trying to obscure. This excludes technical terms for which there are no synonyms, of course.

Yep, she’s lost. Dumb as a rock, and over her head.

If Chelsea isn’t ashamed of her parents, she should be. When she was a teen, it was all probably new and exciting. Now that she knows better, she knows better.

Wow, this person [Chelsea Clinton] graduated from an ivy league school? The writing is beyond awful, even discounting the whiny subject matter. What the hell was she trying to get across in such a convoluted, long winded email?
Imagine having to read those daily and having to make some sense out of them and your job depends on it.
Yikes.

I continue to want - and to try - to disintermediate myself from this muddle, edify the corporate audit and existential process we are in - while also being a responsible board member, daughter and person.Chelsea Clinton.
English translation for those of us who are not as smart as Chelsea.
I'm trying like hell to get myself out of this cl*st*erf* ck without pissing off my parent/ benefactors ,who bought me a ten million dollar condo, and remain in their will.

I can substitute a little but I get lost.
"I continue to want - and to try - to disintermediate myself from this muddle, edify the corporate audit and existential process we are in"
To make sense this is as far as I get:
I continue to want - and to try - to rise above this muddle, clarify the corporate audit and - WTF?
