While it is unclear if it was done on purpose or by mistake, moments ago a folder within what appears to be the Wikileaks server has opened at the address https://file.wikileaks.org/file/ which provides a glimpse into thousands of doc, pdf, wav, jpg and various other files, as well as dozens of subdirectories including Videos, Syria-files, Collateral Murder, Japan Bribery Affair, and many others.
It is unclear what the basis of this disclosure is, although some are speculating that it may be the release of one of Wikileaks' so-called insurance files, which in light of today's speculation about the fate of Assange, may indicate that things are about to get to a climax vis-a-visthe trove of information in Wikileaks' possession.

Seriously though, I have opened only one or two. I can’t bring myself to open a file that even remotely might be related to national security. I admit to being uncomfortable, not to mention hypocritical.
I did download the House ethics investigations file. Just for the gossip factor. :-)

There’s even a list of the secret rituals for several fraternities and sororities.
The directory itself is enormous - close to 50 screen pages (+/-).
Whatever is there has been cloned a zillion times all over the world.
To be clear. I was only talking about this stuff in this file refereed to in this thread.
That sounds a call between someone like the FBI and
“Media Defender” regarding making child porn cases. The call had nothing to do with HRC.
I am only through the first 600MB of 12GB and already there have been 4 Trojans detected. So be careful.

Open in a sandbox- or isolated virtual machine- (A program like rollbackr is great too- if a virus makes it onto computer, simply roll back system to before the virus-)
All files were likely hit with a Unix “touch” command to obscure the original date timestamp. That helps reduce possibility of tracking back to a source computer to protect whoever dumped the data.
