CNN: Why Trump's talk of a rigged vote is so dangerous
CNN ^ | October 18, 2016 | Stephen Collinson

Donald Trump is playing with fire.

The Republican presidential nominee's claim that the election is being rigged against him represents the most outlandish moment yet in a campaign devoted to dismantling political norms.

[Snip]

Should he lose, it threatens the legitimacy of those left to govern after the most anarchic election in modern history.

[Snip]

His accusations alone, experts say, could inflict long-standing damage on the US political system itself by eroding trust in the probity of the electoral process.

How ridiculous that CNN’s clutching their pearls and reaching for the smelling salts at the possibility of the sanctity of the ballot box being damaged. In what Fantasy Land are they dwelling?

No one in Texas has believed in honest elections since LBJ and the Miracle of Box 13, when Mexicans in South Texas voted in alphabetical order to put that crook in the Senate. Does anyone in IL still believe in honest elections after the Daley machine cheated JFK into office? And we won’t even mention the corruption in LA,AR, MN, HI & VA among many others. We won’t have honest elections until absentee voting, early voting, and machine voting are abolished. The Democrats view all three as ways to cheat.

It ain't just CNN...

From NPR: 5 Reasons and then some NOT to worry about a rigged election

Yes, it's NPR, so you KNOW where they're coming from. If you do read the article, take a look at Reason #3. THAT is their alibi for rigging..."See, the vote totals show what we already knew".

OK so actually rigging an election is ok.

But talking about it is not OK.

I got it.

Everfyone with a brain knows thie entire election has been rigged for Hillary from Day-1.

Why were there only 3 other candidates for the democrat nomination versus 17 for the republican?

Because all the big name democrats knew it was “Hillary’s Turn”.

And even those 3 candidates were hand picked political weaklings one of them damn near stole the nomination from her.

Why was the DNC itself rigging the system to favor Hillary?

Because it was “Hillary’s Turn”.

Why was the FBI investigation of her criminality a sham?

Because it was “Hillary’s Turn”.

Should he lose, it threatens the legitimacy of those left to govern after the most anarchic election in modern history.

Personally I hope if Hillary does win, not one single Republican treats her presidency as legitimate and uses ever tool at their disposal to shut her entire agenda down cold (including all judicial and executive appointments requiring Senate approval) for the next four years. Let her twist in the wind and leave office with NO legacy to speak of.

However I figure Paul Ryan and the rest of the RINO crew are just drooling to prove to their liberal media masters how they are "not Trump" and will "work across the aisle" and rubber stamp anything Hillary sends them.

It’s dangerous because it exposes the modern Tammany Hall that pays the MSM bills.

There needs to be a reckoning.

The “long standing damage” is going to the MSM, the supporters of those who are rigging the system.

CNN, you have it wrong.

Trump is a symptom of the erosion of trust in the electoral process. He isn't the cause.

That trust has been eroding for decades, and Congress has refused to do anything about it.

Individual states have tried, only to be sued by the US Dept. of Just Us.

This is why Trump WINNING the election is as important as anything he will do afterwards : NO GOP NOMINEE has the guts to point out the fraud the way Trump has.

This is the LAST election we settle our differences by the ballot box.

The next one is the ammo box.

The globalist have destroyed this country. It is now payback time. The tree of liberty needs to be watered.

Erosion of Trust in government...

Yet this is the SAME tactic used in public schools with children FOR the purpose of eroding their trust in their parents.

"CNN: Why Trump's talk of a rigged vote is so dangerous"

Because it's true and if a critucal mass of the population decides not to recognize an illegitimate government, it's war? Is that what you're getting at, CNN?

I can see a scenario where a large segment of the population refuses to accept the results of an election where there is evidence of rigging, and Hillary's response to that same segment of the population.

It's all fun and games CNN, at least until the lead starts flying.

Hardly necessary to say that all this tut-tutting is like people ignoring a bloody corpse in the living room, while attacking the person who says there’s a bloody corpse in the living room.

If Trump “loses,” and then concedes the election, I will consider him a traitor and a quitter. I expect him to stand up and accuse Hillary of fraud, and fight tooth and nail to prove it. The existence of the country depends on it. And Western Civilization.

We have a Pope and a hierarchy who are aligned with the Marxist totalitarians, the genocidal environmentalists, the Muslim conquerors. I never expected to see a Pope who is aligned with those who want to kill a billion poor people with carbon restrictions.

In other words, almost all officials and institutions who should be defending the West are now our enemies.

It’s all up to Trump.

Every election is rigged. Dems ALWAYS cheat. It’s only a matter of degree.

I grew up in Chicago. That qualifies me to speak to the issue of election rigging.

This election will be rigged in ways and to degrees we have never seen before. Fortunately, we have a counterweight by way of social media.

Trump is absolutely correct and he is right to expose dem chicanery. Forewarned is forearmed. Any other Republican would just roll over and play dead.
