And there’s that pointing thing she does. Bill does it, too. It’s been said they do it even when there’s nobody or nothing there to be pointed at. Maybe because they think it makes them make a personal connection with the TV audience.
I once worked with a very political executive. He had his smile face. It was very practiced and identical each time he used it. He must have had twenty pictures of himself in his office, each with that identical smile face; just the right amount of teeth showing, just the right tilt of lips and eyes. When I saw him use that face I knew somebody had just been screwed.
Dogs cannot smile because they have no lips. Instead, they open their mouths wide when happy.
