When I was in Junior High School and read Science Fiction, I dreamed of a noble world government that brought freedom and peace to everyone. Then Heinlein and to a lesser extent Asimov took priority in my reading.

I and still proud that I voted for Nixon and that the only two Democrats I ever voted for were Zell Miller and Sam Nunn.
