Thank goodness a mega church that actually follows the Bible...
Read First Corinthians dude where Paul told the Corinthian church to revoke membership because of illicit sexual activity.
After the guy repented and stopped the actions in 2 Corinthians he told the church that God had forgiven him and so should they .
As long as this guy wants to continue his lifestyle he should stay revoked...if he does not just find some lame stream liberal group that dont give a flip what he believes or does
Gross wickedness must be dealt with,.....
God will remove His spirit from any church that will not uphold his standards...
Many megachurches already are nothing more than an empty building.
Our pastor also said that anyone who is repented of their sinful behavior is welcome and honored. If they come in flaunting sin, they are gone.
Our church elders and pastor protect the flock from evil and keep it out. That’s what they are supposed to do. Our churches should be a safe haven from evil.
Years ago, I knew a man who got up in front of his choir and told them he was a homo. He was kicked out then and out of the church later. It was a SBC. The last I heard, he was going to a Catholic Church.
The church is dispensational evangelical. Basically a breakoff from Northwest Bible over music styles. It has some big dollar members and real estate holdings in the $75-80 million range.
Churches, REAL New Testament churches, OUGHT to make people uncomfortable in their sins - the "welcoming" trend is an unbiblical farce.
The white-hot Church after Pentecost was an intimidating thing. Of the people who heard their message and saw their miraculous signs, "no man join himself to them" out of fear that their sins would be their end.
Just because a church is big doesn't make it a wishy washy "megachurch".
We all know this here on FR, but it's good to remember there are exceptions.
