What I expected: with Trump, the ugly is skin deep, while with Hillary it goes to the bone.

They popped this "surprise" too early to permanently damage the trajectory. And another "unexpectedly" bad jobs report is focusing minds, no matter how much the media tries to yell, "Look! There's a squirrel!" with false groping allegations.
