That and many older folk have little to no understanding of how the Democrat party has changed and is no longer the party of JFK in any way. Either they are oblivious to the language of the left or the frog has been boiled so slowly that they don’t feel bad about the switchover of the platform to the radical left.

There is a portion of them that are only casually involved in political discourse and considerations — like low information voters of all age segments.

There are also highly educated that have drank the kool-aid of equivalency for the modern left. They see the EU style democratic-socialism as equally satisfactory as a system of government. They do not understand the Armed Doctrine for the road to oblivion that it is. They are longing for the plush prosperity of the Clinton/Newt 90s and giving all the credit to Clinton.
