When your favorite adult beverage has been something that seems to be a fairly ‘benign’ liqueur or fruity ale and you’ve never had a good taste of Scotch whiskey, you will have to develop a taste for it. It’s good stuff, but to the new Scotch drinker it seems harsh in comparison to what they were used to. However, at some point, it will start to agree with you and by then you will be wondering why it took so long, and eventually, you’ll be able figure that out for yourself.

So your acquired taste for fine scotch whiskey is an analogy to something WaPo or I stated, right?
This is not the Sunday morning hangover thread, but please, do share.

Although a good beer is always a nice pacer to a fine scotch whisky.
