ATLANTA (AP) — New ID requirements. Unfamiliar or distant polling places. Names missing from the voter rolls.

Those are just some of the challenges that could disrupt voting across the country through Election Day. While most elections have their share of glitches, experts worry conditions are ripe this year for trouble at the nation's polling places.

Hey you - what do you got against diesel engines, huh? :-)

I love diesel engines. I spend hours watching YT videos of the giant diesels that power container ships.

The election day news stories have already been written.

And those stories we will hear, even before we hear election returns, will be how minority voters were turned away, or voting machines broke down, or some gut wrenching story about how the minority vote wasn’t allowed or counted properly.

They already have the template written for their stories. We hear this every election day, that during the day, there are problems somewhere. We always hear, that a judge in those places has issued an emergency decree, to mandate that polling place remain open after normal voting hours, to allow for more voting.

I’ve heard the same story for many election cycles. This will be no different.

“...Clarke and others say Trump supporters at the polls could lead to intimidation...”

So, Clark....You think Trump supporters are gonna be out there with black berets, black boots, and billy clubs like the dems had in Philly????

Black women are the only voting group that supports Hillary.

I’ve heard you could split women’s votes into various categories. As you note, black women are heavily for Hillary. But I’ve heard that married women overall are for Trump, and voted strongly for Romney last time. Single women tend to vote Democrat, so single women overall will support Hillary.

But then there is a big overlap between single women and black women, as more black women/black mothers tend to be unmarried.

Will be interesting to see women overall. Hillary and her henchmen probably thought that women overall would be eager to elect the first woman president. It’s got to stun them how little enthusiasm there is for Hillary.

It hardly seems like any big step forward for women to me, to elect the likes of Hillary Clinton president.

I love diesels, too. I have 6 more or less stationary diesel engines around here. And one in the tractor. I like the sound. I think they smell good, too. Really.

“experts worry conditions are ripe this year for trouble at the nation’s polling places.”

Why do these only affect minorities? White (male) people must really be a master super race as nothing ever negatively affects them and they can figure anything out. Heck, they could demand 6 forms of ID signed by a notary and two lawyers within a polling place that is intentionally hidden with ballots written in Klingon and those super white males would still be undeterred

TRANSLATION: If Trump wins, the Wicked Witch's supporters will claim she really won and she should be sworn in as President. I could see her holding a counter-inauguration and trying to get the Blue States to recognize her as President. The Liberal Media, of course, would side with President Witch.

It’s about voter fraud and the left’s concern that there won’t enough illegal votes counted to elect Hillary.

Well, if they have been sitting at home watching TV, and get up only to get their food stamps, they probably don;t deserve to vote. No matter what color their pigment is. People on the DOLL and eating at the trough, dependent on the gubmint. Probably shouldn;t be voting themselves more pork.

IDEA!!!

Since DEMS ferry voters from one poll to another, why not have people follow the buses? Make it like the pony express- changing drivers at the polls, but keeping a record of where they stop.

“Clarke and others say Trump supporters at the polls could lead to intimidation”

Four years ago, did they have any concern about the New Black Panthers at the polls?/s

Wasn't Clarke a lawyer in that case?

Agreed. The local AA church is now my voting place. It is also an early voting location. I would love to put a cam on that place 24/7 to see how many buses pull up from out of state. Because voter ID was struck down, I will be voting early before someone else does it for me.

Apparently, our mere existence violates their rights.
