My wife left Illinois as soon as she was able.
A lot of the people in Southern Illinois are bleeding over into Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee these days.

My wife left Illinois as soon as she was able. I fled as soon as I could too. Are there things I miss? Yes, but taxes aren't on that list. Overall my quality of life is much better since I left IL.

That is the problem, many of these are like locusts. They destroy where they live and then move on to greener pastures and bring with them the plague of liberalism and within a generation or so they destroy their new digs with the same stupidity they fled.
