And war with Russia would likely be nuclear.
This really will be the election to end all elections!
My immediate concern is a scenario that goes something like this:
—In the next few days it is alleged that Russia planes bombed a US carrier or major ship in the middle east. —There will be pictures of smoke and fire, dead sailors everywhere, and the demands for retribution will rise from the Halls of Congress, all covered 24-7 by the “news” stations and the networks.
—Hillary calls off the debates, says she is conferring with the administration on the appropriate action (gets to look Presidential, tries to make Trump irrelevant)
—Wikileaks big dump happens, major stuff, bad, bad, bad for Hillary
—We bomb a Russian air or naval base (Black Sea would be my guess).
—Russia attacks some US forces somewhere
—Congress declares war including legislation that any website attacking the war effort can be shut-down for the duration (Lincoln did this with newspapers during the Civil War) and any citizen impeding the war effort or giving aid and comfort to the enemy can be jailed for the duration (ditto Lincoln, Civil War)
Result: Wikileaks ignored, Hillary elected, win win for the plutocrats.
P.S. The Russian attack was a phony U.S. Intelligence disinformation plot using captured or mocked up Russian planes.
That is how the Big Boys and Girls play, folks.
