Tough personal call on voting for, against, or abstaining in some down-ticket races. I'm of a mind that each voter should ignore pressure either way, and vote as they see fit. I refuse to vote for Susan Collins and most of the candidates the Maine GOP floats. The state party is an inbred outfit, generations old, and based on money. Makes sense, it's the vacation destination for the eastern establishment.

I just abstain. My attitude is that the candidate is responsible for their performance with the voters, not me. They lose, it is their fault, not mine.

I've voted for some real stinkers too, so it's not like I have a consistent stand based on principle ;-) I always regretted voting for McCain, but it wasn't until this year that I came to regret my vote for Romney.

I always regretted voting for McCain,

How do you think I feel? I worked his campaign. Although I did let my daughter play hooky form school to go hang out with Gov. Palin. That was cool. I was convinced that electing Obama was the worst thing in the world. I think we would have gotten to this point eventually, but at a slower pace with McCain or Romney. The uniparty must go! The Clintons are a different animal. They are pure evil.

Reluctantly, as usual, I will vote straight “R” this election. I am in Wisconsin in Ron Johnson’s district. He rode the Tea Party to Washington and hasn’t done much since. But, I don’t want to aid in Feingold’s return. Argggggg!!
