I believe that Putin will acknowledge that Donald Trump will be a different kind of leader than the homo 0bama or Hillary. We’ll be just find - and fences will be mended quickly.
Trump wrote after seeing Zhirinovsky's remarks:
Russia DOES NOT like Hillary Clinton. No one does
WE NEED ALLIES, NOT ENEMIES ....
-----------------------------------------------
...Zhirinovsky said electing the Republican nominee would be a gift to humanity, while electing Ms. Clinton would likely start a third world war..."Americans voting for a president on 8 November must realize that they are voting for peace on Planet Earth if they vote for Trump. But if they vote for Hillary it's war."....."Trump will have a brilliant chance to make relations more peaceful, Mr Zhirinovsky said. He's the only one who can do this."
Zhirinovsky described Hillary as "an evil mother-in law" and said it was too great a risk for a powerful country to be led by a woman."
Mr Zhirinovsky's flamboyant nature and brazen comments mean he is considered an oafish figure among Russians.....Yet he is also a long-time political insider who has had a seat in the Duma for more than two decades.

I am no friend of Russia nor China for that matter, and am very uncomfortable they were thrown together by the actions of this administrations policies over these past few years. There is little done now without the others awareness.....
I do agree that Trump would stand a chance of creating a better environment with these two nations far better than Hillary....but they are becoming a formidable force together...and cannot be trusted long term, rather monitored very carefully...I think Trump understands that and better to at least appear as a friend than an enemy going into office.
Not a good position Obama is placing this nation in on the World Stage, he's leaving ore than a mess for the next administration to clean up.
Yup. I truly believe Trump and Putin will develop a mutual respect for each other even though their positions are adversarial.
