RESIDENTS of major German city Essen were left enraged after police and government officials ignored their no-go zone fears, saying they are sick of hearing about it.
Locals in the Citys Altenessen district brought begged officials to help, with one telling the Citys Mayor and the chief of police "I was born here and I do not feel safe anymore.
But the officials shot down the claims of concerned locals, with Police Chief Frank Richter saying Im sick of it.
The Citys Lord Mayor Thomas Kufen also knocked down the claims of his constituents, saying Altenessen is not a no-go area, the people here are just angry.
Others told horror stories of drug related crime and brawls, claiming police refused to respond in time to offer assistance to law abiding citizens.
Locals were left with no option but to laugh as the police official continued to dispute the claims that their local area was unsafe despite people claiming they had been forced to leave the district they had called home after feeling unsafe.
German officials and police have long complained of a cover up of No-go zones within their precincts.
In 2011 former Chief Police commissioner Bernhard Witthaut said: "Every police commissioner and interior minister will deny it.
But of course we know where we can go with the police car and where, even initially, only with the personnel carrier.
"The reason is that our colleagues can no longer feel safe there in twos, and have to fear becoming the victim of a crime themselves.
"Even worse: in these areas, crimes no longer result in charges. They are left to themselves.
It comes just days after police chiefs were been heavily criticised for sending officers into gang-ridden "no-go zones" after two officers were seriously injured in a petrol bomb attack.
The french officers were on patrol on the Grande Borne, a notorious housing estate in Paris, at the time of the sickening attack.
Eyewitnesses said they were "attacked from all sides" by the cowardly mob, who threw Molotov cocktails at the officers - who were badly burned and rushed to intensive care units in hospital
“Damn the Christians to hell...we must become Islamic...Full Speed Ahead!”
Tree, rope. Some assembly required.
We would not have gone to the Eiffel Tower except we took a boat. Then we had to run a gauntlet from the riverside to the secured area. Going home we had to wait for a taxi and it was pretty scary. I predict that within the next five years there will only be tour buses which drive directly into the secure area. Sad.
Eventually the Germans may discover that there is an upside to having large areas where the government is afraid to interfere. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge...
The run up to the Europe wide Bastille day continues.
A parallel aftermath will follow.
So lemme get this straight...the muslims attack and seriously injure police, and the police chief wants the unarmed citizenry to go into those same areas? And why did not the Polizei open fire when attacked? Friggin’ pussified modern Germans! Need a division of old-school Kraut Waffen SS to deal with the scumuslims. The muzscum bastards wouldn’t know what hit them.
And the officers didn’t open fire on people who attacked them with deadly weapons.
Our future if hillary wins
When that protection is withheld the citizen is helpless. The right of self-defense must never be ceded to the State.
Like those safari tours.

When was this?
Very frightening.
.
FWIW, we were there 2-1/2 years ago during the French Open, and it was fine. Our hotel was maybe 300-400m from the Eiffel Tower, and were were out and about the central tourist area every day for 4-5 days.
So is this Lord Mayor elected, appointed or hereditary?
If he is elected he should be replaced in the next election.
If he is appointed there should be an immediate campaign initiated to have him removed and replaced.
If he is a hereditary I guess that his line should end with him at the earliest opportunity.
