MSN WEBTV was a Microsoft internet provider and it DID provide the WebTV.net email. I just assumed that when WebTV shut down, the email address ‘extension’ would be gone too. Looks like I was wrong and I apologize to everyone. :)

No need to apologize - it doesn't make sense. Outlook is just an email program. The actual service provider should be in the email header. Since webtv no longer exists, how it can be on an email header is a mystery - and virtually certain evidence of tampering. The question is, therefore, who tampered with it, and why? To make up the whole email, or to hide the actual IP? It's a totally valid question.

I find it odd too. Many years ago when I had a Windows-XP computer I had Outlook Express and it was a downloaded email IN your computer. Can’t remember what the email extension was and don’t know if there is another ‘outlook’ online email. Color me confused too.

Thanks for your kind words anyway! :)
