Maybe it’s really common to think of an octopus when trying to describe something with a lot of appendages.

I agree. The concern I have about the 30 year old story is detail. Surely she recalls the airline, the cities of departure and arrival, the date, the time of day. Those details would make this checkable against her and Trump’s schedules at a minimum.
Then I’d look at the passenger load of the aircraft and determine if an offer to move to 1st class is likely.
I also wonder if Trump at the time had his own aircraft.
It’s very convenient it is THREE DECADES old.

Didn’t he say that “idle hands are the devil’s workshop”? If not, he should have. He was busy for over 30 years.
