There is no “The Lord said”, every time the harlot is referenced it does not come from God Speaking. It is a ‘man’ thing. Rahab had a flax/linen business, which somehow got twisted into a brothel house. Just like the claim by many that Eve gave Adam an apple. Simply is not Written, they were in a fig grove.
