Same here. They hung too much crap (commercials, PC, politics) onto what used to be a beautiful game. Over the past few years I found myself getting more and more irritated at having to wade through all the junk just to see a few minutes of game.

The kneelers and sitters were the last straw. To my surprise, I don’t miss watching the Steelers at all.

I would DVR the game, then start watching it a half-hour after it started. That way, I could watch in near-real-time, and still skip over any crap.
