Newton, Iowa (CNN)Indiana Gov. Mike Pence dissuaded a female supporter Tuesday from starting a revolution in the wake of a Hillary Clinton victory in a passionate exchange here in Iowa during a town hall.

The woman, who identified herself as Rhonda, expressed concern about voter fraud in the upcoming elections saying that she was scared of the outcomes. "Our lives depend on this election. Our kids' futures depend on this election and I will tell you just for me, and I don't want this to happen but I will tell you for me personally if Hillary Clinton gets in, I myself, I'm ready for a revolution because we can't have her in," she said emotionally.

Obamacare directly closed two part-time jobs I once worked at, my father’s insurance business and the local economy is so bad that a college degree in a useful discipline will get you $15 an hour in a cubicle farm job if you’re lucky. There is literally no money for anything more than canned food and very basic supplies, which I was already doing since this is tornado country.

And that’s not counting when my parents when they are too old for the secretarial work and retail-management, which is all they could get due to rampant ageism and a glut of potential employees. God forbid they need professional nursing care because I sure don’t have the $ and neither do they since their retirement funds and IRA’s were gutted.

We don’t need a revolution, a massive general strike would bring a Hillary government to its knees. Think what would happen if we could just get 30% of the truckers to strike, and not make deliveries to rat cities for ten days. Most cities have less than a two day supply of food. There are a million peaceful ways to stop the government, violence must be a last resort.

You’re wrong on this one Pence. The people are speaking and the politicians are not getting it.

Since you asked ...

I have been reading Free Republic regularly since at least the 2004 election. It’s the best conservative forum on the Internet.

As a rule, I keep a very low online profile. There are too many trolls and flamers out there, and although I am normally courteous to one and all, anyone who pokes a stick in my cage will learn that I can have a short fuse.
Keeping silent is usually a wise option in most of life’s endeavors.

After much thought, I decided to take an active role in this forum mainly to blow off some steam. And, God knows, we all need to blow off some steam in this horrible election.

I was a newspaperman for 25 years until I was forced into retirement for being conservative, Catholic, and generally disrespectful of my Leftist betters.

As I see things, it’s the corrupt media that’s propping up the Uniparty rather than the other way around. If you take away their media shield, most of our elected officials would be exposed for the traitors and crooks that they are.

As for invoking the dangerous “R” word — well, there’s another “R” word that comes just before it in the dictionary. And the poets tell us that it’s a dish best served cold.

If I disclosed what I really wanted to see happen to the big-time journalists who have disgraced my profession ... well, I’d probably get banned from this site.

If disaster strikes and Hillary wins, I would certainly advocate for preserving, protecting, and defending the rule of law - starting with an absolute and unwavering support for the supreme law of the land: the Constitution.

In 2008 we had McCain and Palin, now we have Trump and Pence...at least we have the good one at the top of the ticket this time.

If Pence went along with it, he’d be arrested for Sedition.

What would the founding fathers, out of politics, and watching what is going on, do?

The revolution would already be over and done with for years. The libtards would already be a moulderin in the grave, and the reconstruction well under way.

Reminds me when McLame the traitor “corrected” a woman when she called Obama a Muslim back in ‘07.

That’s hard to hear more of the ruin caused by Obama, Obamacare and the liberals that have been calling the shots for too long. I would think with all this going on you’d be “sick and tired, and not going to take it anymore” regarding the BS of the liberals especially if they cheat to win the election. I hope Trump wins so you and almost every other American can start living a better life.

Agree Leni, Pence comes across as a RINO here and it’s one of the things that makes me wonder why Trump picked him instead of a fighter like him.

This is something the Political/Media business elite has not figured out. The factors that fueled Trumps candidacy are not going away if he loses. Clinton is everything the American people loath about politics. Clamping the lid down on a pressure cooker never ends well.

This reminds me of the days leading up to the French Revolution. The American Political/Media elite are every bit as divorced from reality as the French Aristocracy was in 1787.
