At 54 you’re just a baby. I’m talking about the wagons we had in the middle 1960’s. Yes, they had their own zip codes. My son was around nine and we hauled his entire band around including a full drum set, trombone, trumpet, and other instruments plus all the kids. Everything back of the front seat was treated as a huge trunk.

The 1971-1976 GM station wagons were the largest station wagons ever built at 5400 lbs. This line included the Buick Estate, Olds Vista Cruiser, and the Chevy Caprice and Impala wagons and they all come in with a wheelbase of 121 inches and overall length of 222 inches. The largest wagons of the middle 60s were a little smaller than that.
