That was a great documentary as well. I’ve become kind of obsessed with Pompeii over the last year. I spent days watching literally anything about Pompeii on YouTube.
Very good on obsession. I enjoy Pompeii stuff, too. I haven’t seen a whole lot on it or know a bunch about it, but I do find it very interesting. That documentary from the BBC kind of mesmerized me.
Rent a car. Be adventurous. By the way, I envy you. I always wanted to go there since I first read about it as a kid. They had an excellent traveling exhibit on the museum circuit a few years ago with relics, replicas of wall frescos, etc. that I saw in Houston.
Did you notice the part in this article where it said some of the windows still had their original glass in them after all these years. Now that’s amazing.
