I hate to admit it, but I was one of those naive people. I really thought the Bush family was a decent group. I was wrong. This election has been an eye opener in so very many ways.

I am cynical, I never was.

I feel the same. After 9/11, I bought a thank-you card for GW... got sick and never sent it. But I always thought they were patriots.

Now, I feel very disillusioned. Clearly, I was wrong.

As you say, this election is a real eye-opener.

When I started following politics it was with HW Bush and I admired what I thought was a good man and his family and even with disappointments with their presidencies I supported them and now look at this disgrace from the great Christians who were fine with Democrat dirty tricks and never fought them!
