Ken Bone gained 30 pounds over the past year alone. This is not good. This is a dangerous rate of weight gain.
I speak from experience because I was in the same boat. I lost over 100+ pounds in 2003 only to gradually put it back on over the years. I've been fighting the weight my whole life. During the 2013-2014 period, when I was in process of re-locating to New York City, I put on 30 pounds because I spent many nights in hotels and ate at restaurants just about every night.
Since last November, I have taken 67 pounds off and I intend to keep going until I get to my second 100+ pound weight loss - hopefully for the last time. Because if I put those pounds back on, I will likely die and will no longer be able to post or donate to the Free Republic.
This Ken Bone is also going to die unless he takes action. He needs to walk several miles a day, cut back on the carbs (I can tell it is carbs in this case) and eat much healthier.
My dinner tonight was broiled fish with squash and broccoli. My dinner a year ago would have been pizza or a large hamburger and fries at some Round Robin or 5 Guys.
Good luck to you, sir! I need to follow your example!
Jeez, I always pictured you as thin, wearing a tweed jacket, sipping brandy in some rustic house in Vermont, while you pen creative remarks in a log book for later posting to FreeRepublic.
