You haven't used one for a long time, have you?

Even the labs at the corner Walgreens are digital. The film is developed and scanned, so that a computer can apply automated color correction.

At that point, it can print the image, upload it to their online portal, or put all the images on a CD.

The only real difference is the delay -- you can't upload it to Facebook or Twitter immediately.

I posted images long before I had a digital camera. If I can do it, the media certainly can.
