I’ve kept up with a few people. Some have gay adult children. Some married hated minorities and now have bi-ethnic kids. Most became liberals.
My favorite anecdote was when the biggest Mean Girl bully of my childhood told someone in the early 1990s, “I wish I’d been nicer to her.”
I’ve had a life full of ups and downs, like most of us. Conservative heterosexual Christians have had a crash course in discrimination these past years. At this point, no one still has privilege except the freaking elites and theirs is going away.
