Interesting. So will you please tell us where Columbus landed in America? You are about to change history if you have been sitting on that information!
Columbus never landed here.
Maybe some in New York City, it was an international port. So sailors either tired of sailing or just jumping ship could mean a few here and there from almost any port in the world that engaged in international trade. I remember reading about colonial NYC even having a few Chinese.
wasnt that plymuoth rock?
Or was that Vasco Di Gamma...?
Columbus never landed here....................... True but other Spaniards came shortly there after. The Muslims in Spain were sailors and merchants, is it inconceivable that there were many on the ship crews? I can’t come up with the manifests, but I would say that the probability is there. Before we became the USA our colonies were using slaves from Africa, 20% of which were Muslim. They were here then, so is it not conceivable that through generations they contributed to the growth of our country. (Close to 500 years with no problems within our boundaries.)
Christopher Columbus founded New York City.
It's why Columbia University is headquartered there.
