Domestic trouble calls are the most dangerous calls a police office answers. So don’t do them. The police interject themselves between a man and his wife when they are already upset... What could go wrong? Let the couple work it out themselves or with relatives and friends or man of the cloth, a police presence makes it worse. The couple chose each other, they can live with it. Why does the government have to get involved in everything anyway.
Especially in some jurisdictions that require the police to arrest someone from the call.
