CASINO was one of the most relentlessly unpleasant movies I have ever seen. It literally gave me a headache after half and hour. It was an unredeemable POS movie with not an ounce of humanity. Scorsese really peaked with Taxi Driver, thanks in large part to Paul Schrader’s script.
I didn’t see it nor do I have any intention on seeing it.
It was brilliantly crafted though
I don’t think I could give up the Deer Hunter. I just loved him in that movie. Asshole.
