Pretty country.
My first time there.
We crossed 4 county’s (Hill, Bosque, Mclennan, and Coryell) and beautiful hill country between Lake Whitney and Gatseville on a beautiful autumn day all in 55 miles
Some of my ancestors left Coryell count in 1889. Part of those that moved came back to Coryell in 1895, then came back here again in 1898.
That drive was great! I stopped at the Whitney Dam on the way back and took some pictures.
