First-term Philadelphia City Councilwoman-at-Large Helen Gym has a lot to contend with. A broken school system. A ballooning pension crisis. Rampant poverty. And … a racist food truck?
Wheely Wheely Good is a popular University City food truck that serves hot pots, spring rolls, and rice balls to hungry Drexel students and faculty on 33rd Street. --SNIP-- On the day of the event at the Montessori school, Gym tweeted a photo of her daughter holding a sign that read “RACISM SUCKS! AND SO DOES THIS” with an arrow pointing at the truck. Li says that when the event was over, she realized that the sign had been stuck on the back of the truck.

She seems to be a newly elected politician who couldn’t wait to throw her weight around .. as in “I’ll make trouble for you”.
I’ve seen this countless times. Someone gets a little bit of authority and it goes to their head and they think they can run around intimidating people.
In particular, give a government employee authority over anything, a key to the office supply room even, and they will wield their power over others.
It really does pain me to say that the Birthplace of American Liberty has been destroyed by almost a century of utterly failed liberalism, unionism, affirmative action, election fraud, safe spaces and micro-aggressions. Philly is not even a shadow of it’s former self. It is a crime infested politically correct hell on earth!
The councilwoman referred to herself as a “person of color”. Seriously.
Other than very light skinned Asians, who more and more often want to be racially classed as “white” (like light skinned Hispanics), I suspect that most Asians are rather comfortable in their skin. When they face discrimination, it is often “counter discrimination” by liberals, for example requiring them to have *higher* test scores for the same rewards, or even excluding them from rewards because “the Asian quota is full”.
Liberals see people in groups, not as individual. They can’t help themselves out of this perception.
Conservatives look at their abilities and work, so frequently single out Asians by saying “you’re hired.”
Asians should turn up their noses at those who would belittle them by calling them “persons of color”.
Some folks are too stupid to understand a clever play on words.
Me too, especially to drive a hyper sensitive liberal bonkers.

The fact she has a lot of real challenges facing her is the very reason she chooses to divert attention, knowing that she is completely unfit for the job.
