I have to say, I’ve been watching the data buoys in and around the hurricane, and I don’t see the wind speed numbers they’re reporting.

I’ve been doing the same with private weather stations. Bimini had top sustained winds of 33 mph. Along the coast of Florida I can’t find anything over 50 mph sustained.
