A fizzler? Already? So far it has not been a sizzler and it is still hasn't made it's forcasted mark yet. Still a little early to state ‘a fizzler’. I remember watching everyone in New Orleans partying in the French Quarters when being told to leave before Katrina. They were saying ‘no biggie!’. There is absolutely nothing sissy’ish about evacuating in a Level 4-5 Hurricane. One can replace items and even a home, but not a life. Plus, by staying behind - one doesn't only risk their own life, but they are risking other’s when they are being sent out to save those who stayed behind.
A fizzler would be a good thing. But, it's better to be prepared. That is prudent.
The eye never went on shore. Great!! The front side winds hit only 74 mph. I have seen that in a dust storm. No deaths or injuries, rain= FIZZLER. The main thing is never abandon your property, IT WILL BE LOOTED!!
